Who knows more about fashion than three former ELLE Magazine fashion editors? No one, and that's why Abigale, Karen, and Ana Maria came together to start AKA New York.
After working as Fashion and Accessories Editors at ELLE Magazine for a number of years we felt that it was time to start our own line: AKA New York. We began with one item in Spring 2004, our signature terry jacket and have slowly been expanding. Our philosophy is to make fashion accessible, comfortable yet personalized. We love to include unusual details and unique combinations of colors, fabrics and trims. Over the past eighteen months we have had tremendous support from buyers, fellow editors, shoppers and even celebrities!
