Five Weeks Early: Baby Kimye Finally Arrived!

If you avoid social media or live under a rock, you missed the announcement of one of the most anticipated celebrity births. Kim Kardashian gave birth to her and Kanye West’s daughter Saturday, June 15th at Cedars-Sinai Hospital. Five weeks early, Kim and baby are said to be healthy and doing great. According to a source at E! News, “She has dark hair. She looks just like Kim.” (more…)

From Michelle Tanner to Fashion Moguls – 27 Years in the Making

27 years ago today two of the most successful women in acting and fashion were born. At just nine months old, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen were brought by their mother to audition for the part of Michelle Tanner in Full House. Obviously, the girls got the part and played Michelle until they were 9 years old. At age six, Mary-Kate and Ashley became the youngest producers in history.

As they grew older, their style and interests matured. Venturing into the world of fashion, Mary-Kate and Ashley launched their first line The Row followed by Elizabeth and James and TEXTILE Elizabeth and James. The extremely talented duo has an eye for must-have colors and silhouettes while staying on top of new trends. Each with their own sense of style, they work together to create garments of impeccable quality and creativity.

I’m an avid blog reader. There are a few blogs I check on every day, but mostly I just click around from the different links they post and see what’s out there. Believe it or not there are a few really good blogs run and/or created by well-known celebrities. I love reading about celebrities and looking at gossip sites (no shame!) but it’s interesting to see a completely different, and more personal, side to them through their blogs.

Top 10 Looks from Last Night’s Met Gala

All the top names in fashion gathered together last night at the 2013 Met Gala. The theme this year was Punk: Chaos to Couture. Not my first choice but definitely interesting. I was looking forward to seeing everyone’s different perception of what punk is and how extreme some would go. Sarah Jessica Parker, for instance, wore a full-on mohawk headpiece while Kim Kardashian opted for a floral turtleneck dress complete with matching gloves and shoes.

I was expecting to see studs, leather, black and everything else considered punk. There was definitely all of those aspects and some celebrities seemed to nail the theme a bit better than others. On that note, here are my top ten picks for best Met Gala looks! (more…)

Hudson Jeans have been pictured all over the streets lately, especially in two particular styles: LouLou Tux and LeeLoo. Tuxedo-inspired jeans are fairly new to the denim scene but it seems to be making its mark with the likes of stylish celebrities.

Reactions to Last Night’s Oscar Awards!

After months of anticipation, the Oscars finally aired last night, hosted by Seth MacFarlane. The show altogether was a bit, um, odd and drawn out. Some of Seth’s jokes were funny and some a little offensive. Obviously, he took jabs at Hollywood as any host would do.

This year the Oscars celebrated music in the movies we love. It was the tenth anniversary of the film Chicago and Catherine Zeta-Jones lip-synced (not confirmed, but obvious) her performance of “All That Jazz”. Jennifer Hudson got a standing ovation from the crowd of A-listers after her beautiful and heartfelt performance from Dreamgirls. (more…)

Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian all have one thing in common (besides their mega-empire), which is their love for Peace Love World. Let's be honest, how can anyone not love this brand? Every piece of clothing promotes some sort of happiness, whether it be to love yourself or just being happy. No matter what, I always seem to smile when I look at these comfy sweatshirts.

Khloe has been pictured multiple times wearing a different variety of the brand's clothing from the Happy Love 2 Love Hoodie to the Love Sweatpant and Love Hoodie. My personal favorite is Kourtney's I Am Happy Oversized Comfy Raglan because it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. Plus, I feel like when other people read these sweatshirts and sweatpants, it spreads the cheer and everyone will be happy!

Out of all the sweatshirts from Peace Love World, this has to be one of my favorites along with Halle Berry's choice Happy Is The New Black Comfy Raglan. These sweatshirts and pants are perfect for a lazy day or running errands. They are super soft and have a slouchy fit, which I love and the sayings are all so positive! Why not wear a little reminder to smile and be happy?!
