Jon Singer, CEO and Founder of SINGER22, writing to all of our customers and friends,
First and foremost, if you have been impacted by Hurricane Sandy, we hope that you and your loved ones are safe and sound.
Secondly, I wanted to write a brief message to update you all on SINGER22's operations.
SINGER22.com has its warehouse, customer service center, retail stores and photography studio located in East Hills, New York which is on the North Shore of Long Island. As you are likely aware, Long Island was severely impacted by Hurricane Sandy and much of Long Island remains without power including all of our facilities in East Hills. Thankfully our facilities do not appear to have suffered any damage, however our website is served from downtown NYC where there remains no power. The flooding in NYC has required us to serve the site from back-up locations elsewhere in the country, which may have resulted in intermittent issues on the site. At this time the site is up and operating successfully.
SINGER22.com's team all resides in the NYC metropolitan area and Long Island, and nearly the entire team remains without power. In today's day of cell phones and computers the lack of power has made it very difficult to even communicate with our staff. Those who have power are responding to customer emails as promptly as possible via cell-phones, laptops and any other means possible. If you have tried contacting us via phone at 1-877-ISHOP22 and were greeted with a busy signal it is because there is no power, not because our phone lines are all busy. The best means of contacting us until we have power restored is via email at email@example.com. We appreciate our team's dedication to serving our customers during this challenging time and thank you for your patience and understanding as response times and shipment times will be delayed.
We are doing everything possible to maintain a business-as-usual approach at SINGER22.com during these challenging times, but the lack of power throughout much of the region has made it extremely difficult.
* We will continue to offer 20% off purchases, using CODE: SANDY, throughout the period our power remains out. As our site is served elsewhere we continue to accept orders, the only caveat is an extended shipping timeline. We advise not selecting overnight, 2nd day or Saturday delivery as we are unable to guarantee this timeline.
* As UPS has informed us and its customers, "severe weather, flooding, and power outages due to Hurricane Sandy are causing some unavoidable service delays in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia." Packages shipped prior to the Hurricane may experience delay.
* All SINGER22.com packages will ship as soon as humanly possible.
* As soon as power is back up we will be launching new products as we receive them in our warehouse. We have great things on order for the holidays for you and your loved ones.
* We will continue to communicate to our customers via our website, email blasts, Facebook and twitter.
We are all hopeful that power and a semblance of normalcy is restored soon, until then we hope all of you and your loved ones are safe.
As always thank you for choosing us for the latest in fashion.
CEO & FOUNDER
Yesterday, I wrote a post about various celebrities that were pictured wearing Henry & Belle denim. Today, even more pictures of Eva Longoria surfaced of her wearing the Super Skinny Jean in coast. These versatile jeans are currently available for preorder and ship to customers around Nov 15th.
I really like how Eva styled all her different outfits. You can seriously wear these jeans with anything and they can be dressed up or down. I also love the fact this wash doesn't have whiskering, instead, there is minimal fading to make them look slightly worn-in. Henry & Belle denim is clearly a hit because Eva and other stylish celebs can't stop wearing them, so get them while you can!
'Tis the season to wear fur! Ladies, it's arrived. Break out your fur because the cold weather is coming. If you don't have any fur pieces, you're in luck! Here at SINGER22 we have a wide selection of soft furs that can be staple pieces in any woman's wardrobe. Under our own brand, S22, we have fur vests, neck warmers, jackets and shawls to complete your look.
More fur pieces and outfit inspiration after the jump! (more…)
Tons of A-list have been spotted out and about wearing Henry & Belle, which is a new denim line we just started carrying! These jeans are currently available for preorder and ship to customers around Nov 15th. Besides the fact so many stylish celebs have been wearing them, they aren't going to break the bank! A pair of Henry & Belle jeans sells for $132, which is great for a premium denim brand! (more…)
I have a serious obsession with sweaters. I mean, honestly, you can never have enough. Sweaters are so comfortable and cozy, which makes them perfect for lazy/rainy days…and every other day. There are so many different kinds of sweaters from their fabric to stitching to pattern/color. If I could live in a chunky, oversized, warm sweater for the rest of my life, I totally would. We carry so many stylish sweaters here at SINGER22 and I pretty much want every single one of them but I narrowed it down to a bunch I'd love to move into my closet.
Victoria's Secret model, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, was spotted at an art gallery wearing a pair of Citizens of Humanity Dylan Boyfriend Jeans, which are currently available for preorder and ships to customers around Nov 15th! I think Rosie wears these boyfriend jeans well, I mean how could anything look bad on here?! It's always my fav when boyfriend jeans are glammed up with a pair of cute and simple heels.

Denim shirts have been on the scene for quite some time now. A favorite denim shirt of celebrities is the Current/Elliott Perfect Shirt, which is available for preorder and ships to customers around Jan. 14th!
Denim shirts are a great addition to any wardrobe because they are extremely versatile. I love the fact they look different on each person wearing it. You can wear them with a tee and leggings or do denim on denim. Make it your own!
One reason I envy every female celebrity is because they get to wake up to the talented hands of professional makeup artists. I, on the other hand, don’t have that wonderful luxury and, gosh, I wish I did. It’s really crazy how much a person can do with makeup and, more specifically, eyeshadow. You can use certain colors to make your eyes pop or glue on those crazy lashes, which I happen to be slightly scared of. I guess you can relate your eyelids to being like a blank canvas and you can create beautiful masterpiece! Ok that might have been a bit too dramatic but here’s a video from the talented Ashley on how to create a fab smokey eye!
Now for the outfit. Smokey eyes automatically make me think edgy and dark. Here are some great leather pieces that will complement your smokey eye with a bit of edge. (more…)
One of the best parts of fall, besides pumpkin picking and eating endless amounts of Halloween candy, is the fact that boot season starts! When the cold weather hits, my go-to outfit is a sweater and/or long sleeve shirt, jeans and boots. I just find them to be so comfortable and warm. Since I'm very short I feel like I'll get lost in a pair of riding boots, even though I'm completely envious of every girl who can wear them, so I opt for cutesie ankle boots instead. I've also been dying to wear a pair of awesome socks that peak out from the top of my boots and look effortlessly cool…but that's another topic.
SINGER22 has a great selection of ankle boots so I picked out a few of my favorites. I wish I could own them all but my closet is too small and I'm trying to save my money (so far, kind of good).
Karolina Kurkova was the most recent celeb to be spotted out and about in NYC wearing Citizens of Humanity Rocket Leatherette Jeans in both black and vamp red. Check out other lovely ladies rockin' these oh-so-popular jeans here.
I think these jeans look great on Karolina and they fit her perfectly. I mean why wouldn't they? She has legs for miles! I also love how she styled each outfit, one being more refined and the other comfy and layered.
We’re halfway through October (uhh, already?!) which means it’s time to start planning your Halloween costumes. I’ve never been one of those people who wait until the day before to run up and down the aisles of Party City just hoping to get any costume left. So this year be good and plan ahead! Making costumes is always the best, but if you aren’t too crafty you can at least buy pieces to put together a whole look.
Here’s a helpful guide to share some super easy and classic costume ideas that will never go out of style. Plus, you can totally wear all of these items even after Halloween. Bonus points! (more…)
I'll give you a moment to take in the drool-worthy picture above.
Ok back on track. I'm pretty sure this picture is self-explanatory as to why your guy should wear J Brand denim. These six celebs are just a few of the guys who absolutely love J Brand. Not to mention they fit each guy so well (ahem, Ryan Gosling). (more…)
I've always loved the whole rocker-chic look but I don't exactly own a lot of pieces that could contribute to this look so I normally stick to my usual tee and jeans. Whenever I see people with an edgy outfit that still looks girly and stylish, I get so jealous and wish I I could throw something together so easily. Anyway, I put together a few items to create different rocker-chic type looks.
It's a necessity to have a cool jacket to complete a look.
A bunch of celebs have been seen rockin' coated denim, specifically, Citizens of Humanity Rocket Leatherette Jeans in dark ivy. At first, I wasn't too sure how I felt about coated denim but I'm kind of falling in love with them especially in this dark ivy color. As much as I love Lea Michele, I think Nikki Reed (pictured on right) wore these best.
I love the fact they look like leather and how the material isn't too heavy or "waxy" feeling. I think they are versatile and you're able to dress them up or down, which is good because I hate buying a pair of jeans that you can only wear a few times.
If you aren't into the dark ivy, here are four other colors that could spark an interest!
How do you feel about coated denim? Would you try this trend?
