Valentine’s Day can be tricky if you are not in a relationship. Not because it has to be, but because we tend to make it that way. You know, it’s that day that you are supposed to be focused on love and relationship – as if you don’t have to think about it any other time. The way you decide to celebrate is definitely influenced by what stage you are at in your relationship… if you are in one at all. Even if you are not currently in a relationship you can still go out and have a great time. In this post I am going to share some ideas for Stages 1 of Love.
Ever since I saw the Girls episode “Bad Friend” in which Hannah will do anything to get interesting material for her new freelance job, I was knew this song would be stuck in my head for a while. Take a listen below to “I Love It” by Icona Pop, a Swedish synthpop duo.
For those of you who watch Girls, you know exactly what scene I’m referring to, and if you don’t watch Girls, well, you should. Hannah and Elijah go crazy at a rave at nightclub Greenhouse where they end up dancing and screaming to the song “I Love It.” This song is just so much fun and I think it’s definitely going to make its mark.
Although every single person at the Super Bowl party I attended hated Beyoncé’s half time performance, I was speechless. Granted, she might not have sang very much, but she is an amazing performer. In my opinion, Beyoncé definitely stole the show and as always…haters gonna hate.

Growing up in Orange County, Brittany McDonald knew she had a passion for music before she could even talk. Taking inspiration from Gwen Stefani’s confidence and stance on societal views of women, Brittany realized her true mission was to change the way people think through her songs.
Graduating from the University of Southern California with a degree in psychology, Brittany packed her bags and headed to Nashville, TN. Brothers Jim and John Harbaugh, of the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens, will be going head to head on Sunday. No matter what, the end result will be bittersweet knowing that your brother won…but also that your brother won.
Super Bowl may not be the most glamorous of occasions but there’s no reason to not look your best even if the dress code requires sweats. Last night we were graced with yet another fashionable red carpet with the 2013 SAG Awards. Black, white and navy blue seemed to be a huge trend while some actors like Jane Krokowski and Nina Dobrev chose vibrant and playful colors.

Last night marked the eleventh season of Project Runway, which premiered on Lifetime at 9pm. There’s a new set of eager and talented designers ready to send their looks down the runway. However, in this season there’s a twist. Every challenge is a team challenge…yikes.
We were excited to hear one of our models, Katrina, will be walking the runway! Last night, designer Stanley Hudson got paired with Katrina as his lovely model. Stanley is on Team Keeping It Real, who won last night’s challenge to design a garment inspired by New York City. Continue reading
