Being “Almost Famous”

I had a fashion flashback today when the team over at “Equipment” pointed out that the python blouse we have on the site is very “Almost Famous.” It inspired me to do an entire post on one of the best movies of all time, and one of the best fashion era’s too.  The 1970′s were all about free spirit, ease and effortlessness. Flowy tops, wide leg jeans and maxi dresses were a must have staple for every hipsters closet.  The key to pulling off 70′s style is to own the look & don’t let the clothes wear you.  Mix and match fringe with fur, floral with pops of color and don’t forget to always have a pair of cut off jean shorts handy. “Almost Famous” style is beyond perfect for any music festivals that you have to go to, or lazy days at the beach.

“Almost Famous” is one of my favorite movies ever. Great style and an even better soundtrack!

A new line debuting in Fall 2011 called Ainsley has an amazing moleskin coat with a fox fur trim that reminds me of Penny Lane’s coat!
