Get Your Stretch On: Key Pieces for the Turkey Ten

The turkey has been eaten, the dishes are clean and now it’s time to dig in to those leftovers.  Everyone knows you gain a “Turkey Ten” around Thanksgiving time, so what better time of year to invest in some great comfy threads that will hide that extra stuffing.  Below you will find a few key items that are perfect to keep you looking stylish while you crawl on to the couch to watch the Thanksgiving Parade.

I love the Wildfox Mozaic Skull Fleece Poncho because it’s cozy, stylish and easy to travel with.  The flowy fit of this poncho is great to toss on as you make your way to Grandma’s house for Thanksgiving lunch.  And it’s perfect to hide any turkey bump that you might put on.  You can wear this poncho with leggings and tie off the look with some brown flat boots.

I loved this outfit so much when I saw it for the first time, that I went and bought the exact thing head to toe.  These LnA leggings are so soft and stretchy, which make them super comfortable for long flights or curling up with a good book.  I know I’ll be wearing my LnA’s on Thanksgiving day with my loose fitting Alternative Apparel linen top in Pewter mini stripe.

This is a perfect example of why a cape is this year’s key investment item.  You can literally wear them with anything to anywhere. The Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent Cape as seen on Khloe Kardashian, is extremely versatile.  You can pair it with leggings and over the knee boots, or wear it belted with jeans.  Of course, for Thanksgiving I wouldn’t belt this cape, just let it flow.

Let’s give our baby mama’s a quick shout out this Thanksgiving – The J Brand Maternity Leggings are a-ma-zing; keeping Mom to be’s style in tact!!  If you’re having a more casual Turkey Day, these leggings look great with Plastic Island Detailed Top in Grey which will cover up your baby bump just enough to feel comfortable.  And for all of you non-preggers stylista’s out there – we won’t judge it you pull these leggings out for some post Turkey relief!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
