The Alice + Olivia Fall 2011 collection was recently presented in NYC and we couldn't love it more. As much as we may feel that summer has just begun, these fun party dresses, snuggly sweater jackets and fabulous furs are getting us in the mood for some fall weather. Lucky for you, SINGER22 has several of these hot Fall items on pre-sale now and we're suspecting they'll sell out fast. So better get to shopping before those leaves start to fall.
You've got a busy summer ahead of you. So why not start stocking up your closet and be prepared for wherever the sun takes you. I can't believe we are already starting to look at fall. I didn't want summer to be over until the fall pieces from Alice and Olivia started rolling it. The amazing black jacket with leather lapels and the sweaters with the fur collars are the epitome of classy, but can even be worn in a downtown chic cool way. I paired both the jacket and sweaters with the new dark Current Elliot jeans. These are my favorite jeans for the fall, they have just the right amount of holes and white specs all over them, not to mention they are the softest denims I have ever gotten my hands on. The combination of these pieces were true perfection. I threw on underneath it all a white Daftbird tank top, that was oversized and super long in the back. I love layering pieces and Daftbird made the perfect tank top. I love how it basically goes up to calves in the back and then up to the waist in the front. I am stacking up on these!
Now, I am not going to go all “Black Swan” on you ladies. Trust me… I have seen the movie and I have no intention to bring it up again (I am not a big fan of “scary-psychological” movies).
From leggings to tights, from cardigans to tees, channel your inner-ballerina with these Singer22-approved “Ballerina Babe” inspired apparel. Now, I am not a prima ballerina myself but I still do remember a thing or two from way back when (I can still remember how to do the first position!).
NOTE: I do not think these outfits are appropriate for ballet practice, but I am sure it does not hurt to look as if you belong (;

1. Trend It Up With Tribal
We’re seeing a huge aztec influence on a lot of designer dresses. This summer is the perfect time to bring out your tribal prints and add pops of color (maybe with a clutch or shoe) to really trend it up.
A huge fan of nautical, I feel that it’s something that will always play a part in a summer wardrobe. You can’t go wrong with stripes no matter what the occasion or location. It’s preppy, classic and always stylish.
3. Splash Of Color
By far the hottest trend of the summer, bright and vibrant colors are being seen everywhere!! Going hand in hand with a perfect tan, a bold colorful dress is this season’s go-to “dressential”.
4. Not Just Your Average Nude
Neutrals and nude toned dresses are very understated and elegant. A great choice for special functions or days in the sun, a nude dress will take your summer wardrobe to the level.
5. Boho Babe
I am loving the return of the 1970s boho trend right now. It’s so easy to pull off and the dresses are comfortable and transitional. You can wear your boho dress all day at the beach, then toss on some heels to make it night worthy. By far one of my favorite trends for summer.
Now these are two trends we must tread carefully – mixed prints and animal print. Be careful with these two popular spring and summer trends! How do you avoid it? For animal prints, pair it with a solid color like a black blazer. And, if you want to mix some prints, select something subtle and not too bold.
With all of the pretty colors to choose for spring, berry tones are not only popular, but pretty as well. Berry colors are the perfect color choice for any skin tone and also serve as a statement piece for your outfit. Night out on the town? Reach for the purple and blue hues. Feeling savvy? Don't let the power of pink fool you. Fuschia and deeper purples gather the "wow" factor you deserve! Animal prints never go out of style. The great thing about this trend is that you can carry most items(tops, shoes, etc.) from season to season. The most popular animal print being seen in stores now are leopard dots. This trend has also been spotted on the Fall 2011 runways, so keep an eye out for this print throughout the next year. Vanessa Hudgens was seen at the premiere for “Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure” wearing the Blu Moon V Neck Bell Sleeve Top in Leopard print. She looks so chic in this outfit, you can’t go wrong pairing this top with velvet pants, red lipstick, and long jewelry. I am also loving the Rory Beca tiger print dress that is shown above, very trendy and fierce!
P.S. Animal prints go a long way, so don’t try to over-do it, simple pieces work well with this trend!

I cannot help it – I LOVE FIRST LADY MICHELLE OBAMA’S STYLE! She is bringing back minimalism amongst other things! I love how she spices it up with bright colors, yet keeps it modest and modern with khaki pants and a button-down blouse. Achieve a Michelle Obama style with a Singer22 flair! You will love these picks – perfect for day and night, and work and play!
Thanks Mrs.O for the fashion fix!
The temperatures outside are starting to go up, up, up and so is my love for hot colors. Daring reds, sunny yellow and bold blues…whatever the color you seek, you will be sure to find plenty of it on Singer22 right now. My personal favorite color of the moment is hot pink. Pink is a feel good color and lends a nice glow to anyone who wears it. It will get you in the mood for beachy weather and all you have to pair pink up with are easy neutrals and some hot sunglasses and presto!
