The Free People collection is out of this world. Their concert tees are the softest things ever that include the unique long back but short front. The style looks awesome with the black Splendid leggings. The beige and charcoal thermal were my favorite looks with the Citizen bell bottoms. I love the casual laid back look – and Free People is made for that. The long aztec capes were super cozy and also looked great with a skinny jean. JBrand or Siwy are my favorite. I wouldn’t wear it with a flare considering the length it hits. But my most favorite of the collection, were the two maxi dresses that were so different and so special, all while being super comfortable. I loved every little thing about them. The length, the print, the tight fit, the slits. One of the dresses is your typical to the floor maxi dress (which is still great), but they made a to the floor maxi dress cardigan that has buttons going all the way down, but still includes the sexy slit. I couldn’t decide which to purchase first – but it’s a must have.
Where to begin….the new collection of Parker is to die for. They always find the best mix of colors. I love their palette of soft pinks and earthy tones. I’m also a huge fan of the shoulder strap with the cut open shoulder style. They do that with their dresses and their tops. I love the tops with the cut out shoulders to be paired with Citizen Angie Super Flare. Parker is sort of meant to be feminine/classy/hippie. That’s my take on it, that may be a little contradictory but hey, it works! My favorite part about Parker is that they truly understand a girl and how short/long she wants her dress to be. It’s always the perfect length and just the right fit to flatter any girls body. I feel as if Parker is a perfect team with Jeffrey Campbell, I think they were made for each other.
To me (and I think everyone else in the world), Friday’s are the best day of the week. They should feel anything but casual, because (in most offices) “Casual Fridays” gives fashionista’s the time to shine. “Casual Fridays” should be the day you can bring your personality into the work place and show off your great style. The best part about this look is that it’s perfect if you’re fancying a date for happy hour. Ditch the blazer, roll up the sleeves on your blouse and bust out those accessories to take your look around town. I love wearing bright pops of color in the work place because they symbolize high energy. A pair of wonderful wedges will be a nice treat for your feet if you are standing long hours.
Wowing your work friends is easy and you probably already have most of these pieces in your closet. But, just in case you don’t, Casual Cuteness is just a click away:
Jean is one, if not the, most classic fabrics of our time. Jean is versatile and comes in the form of pretty much everything: jackets, shorts, tops, and most popularly, pants. A majority of women have this staple in their closets at this very moment. An important thing to remember is that although jean is timeless, it can also become outdated. Maybe your jean jacket from the 80′s can still rocked with a maxi dress, but I’m not so sure about that jean purse you still have sitting in your closet. I’m here to show you the freshest new threads to update your spring wardrobe.

Basic tees and tanks are an essential for every girl’s wardrobe, however, sometimes it’s nice to have the comfort of a tee while staying stylish and trendy at the same time. There are a lot of basic styles being reinvented for a more stylish and edgy feel. Uneven hems a.k.a. Hi-Low Tops, are a huge trend today, they are soft and comfy but very fashion forward. Hooded tees are a great alternative to a hood in the upcoming warmer months. They give you the same comfort of a hoodie and not only are the light and airy, they look cuter for a spring or summer casual look. The exposed shoulder tees are a more modern twist on a basic t-shirt. I’m a huge fan of these because they are just as comfortable as any basic tee, but appear edgier and more fashion forward. Open back or cut-out tops are great for a sexier casual look or for an edgy grunge look. And finally, over-sized tees are great right now, with the right fabrics they can still appear feminine even if they are two or three sizes too big for your body. They are super cute cropped, with a Hi-low hem, or even worn as a dress. All of these tops are so versatile and can work well with pretty much any bottoms, try Citizens of Humanity flare jeans, Siwy skinny jeans or cut off shorts, or even dressed up with a Pleasure Doing Business skirt. I checked out SomethingNavy’s blog this morning and was pleasantly surprised with her all denim look. I am a girl who would never pair up a denim top with denim shorts but she is rockin’ this look so well that it’s made me a converter. I love this top because it’s not just your average button up denim. The peek a boo shoulder’s gives it more edge and a fun, flirty aspect to the outfit.

Have I mentioned how much I am in LOVE with the new Citizens of Humanity Angie Super Flare Jeans? The picture on our site right now does not do these jeans justice. Heck, no picture does. You have to get them, put them on and FEEL what I’m talking about. These jeans are the PERFECT 1970s wide leg. I hope you are noticing my use of all caps. Just to show you some of the intricate detail of the jean, I snagged a picture from my besties blog of her wearing them recently. She’s Catt Sadler’s make-up artist, Catalina Su and she rocks these Citizens like it’s her job.
See the stitching from the knee down and how it angles out? It makes you look taller and leaner. The top of these jeans suck in any flaws and I adore the pockets.
They are high waisted but not too high waisted. Dark enough to wear out at night, but just right for the day as well. Order these Citizens of Humanity jeans before they sell out – because they will – and you will be thanking me later.
