It’s a Jungle Out There

You can never go wrong with animals prints. Season after season animal is in. And what better way to appreciate nature and not upset PETA than to incorporate the prints and patterns of the wild into our wardrobes? Cheetah prints make us feel feminine and fierce like the feline of the jungle…or Savannah or wherever it is that cheetah’s hangout. While snake and python prints make us feel sleek and seductive like the slithery, stealthy reptiles. Zebra prints are bold, exotic and eye catching. We wear these prints not only for the appreciation of color or shape but for what the animals themselves exemplifies and we secretly wish we were like ourselves.

New York City If I were an animal I’d want to be a panther or any exotic big cat. I say panther because even in animal form I like to be dressed in black from head to toe. Panthers are strong, graceful and mysterious. They’re basically the animal version of what the ideal Bond girl is. And a Bond girl is the epitome of sexy, powerful, and feminine. FYI the panther is not an actual separate species of cat. A panther just refers to a large cat species that has excessive black pigment so you cant actually see their spots without close observation. There’s your daily dose of Zoboomafoo fun facts for those of you who still remember that show.

Style Cravings of Unique New Yorkers

I woke up this morning with the sun streaming in my window reviving my inner 70s bombshell wannabe (hello Brigitte Bardot) and a little of Carmen Sandiego’s catch-me-if-you-can mystery while trying to hide under the covers for some extra sleep. What better way to satisfy my style icon craving than with a floppy hat? The hat, might I add, is the ULTIMATE understated, attention grabbing accessory. Everyone always notices the girl in the hat before anyone else in the room. A Lovely Bird floppy hat is an excellent choice for a look similar to mine or a Civil Clothing snapback for those urban glamazon days.

Believe it or not, Thanksgiving is just a few days away! It's crazy how fast the time is going but I cannot be more excited for Thanksgiving. Besides my birthday (yes, I count that as a holiday) and Christmas, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because I'm a huge foodie and there's obviously tons of food. The one dilemma I face is whether or not to get dressed up or stay comfy. My personal choice is to be comfortable because I like to just hang around all day and eat myself into a food coma. The Kardashians
The Kardashians are known for the television show, countless product endorsements, and their paparazzi-filled lives. But, I would have to say I think the Kardashians are becoming a prominent family in business and fashion. Why? Well, the entire family is filled with smart businesswomen with a fashion-forward attitude and they now know how to handle themselves publicly. With their well-known reputation and image, the Kardashians grace our television sets, magazines, and even the big screen in fashionable attire. When I think of “Kardashian fashion,” I think of body-hugging outfits, skin-tight jeans, and sky-high stilettos. This family is living the luxury dream!

Big sis Kourtney makes outwear look oh so chic! We love her choice of casual wear – doesn’t she look like one stylish mama? She loves her Funktional Leopard Coat (also, one of our Singer22 favorites). Another coat we love is her Alice + Olivia Lela Buckle Coat. She paired this chocolate brown coat with leopard-printed tights and matching pumps. Kourtney achieves the equestrian look with the Mackage Stricker Boyfriend Blazer.
