Both Women's & Men's VIP List
Every major music festival has a “type.” What we mean: you won’t see someone jumping up and down in a florescent tutu, fringe bikini top and plastic sunglasses at any other music festival than Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC)…and maybe Ultra. Coachella, however, falls on the other end of the festival spectrum. You can express your style in a more peaceful and laid back manner. If you’re into street style, boho-chic and flower crowns then keep on reading. (more…)
Stage 4: A Married Couple…Without the Marriage License
You’re in a long term relationship that is going smoothly but you wouldn’t mind if things heated up a bit. Since you’ve been together for so long, you feel comfortable with one another. There’s nothing wrong with that, of course, but it’s nice to go back to Stage 2 and act all giddy towards one another. (more…)
Our stylist, Casey, is responsible for picking out every part of an outfit to be styled and photographed on the models. She specifically chooses every piece, from earrings and necklaces down to shoes and everything else in between to properly represent each brand and the SINGER22 shopper. Some of Casey's favorite items include pieces from brands like Rag & Bone/JEAN, Penelope and Coco, Vince and Current/Elliott. Get to know her better! (more…)
Nicky Hilton was posing for pictures at a recent event wearing this girly Finders Keepers Mr. Jones Dress. It's currently available for preorder so hurry and get yours before it's gone! This lovely dress ships around March 15th.
Does this dress look familiar? It might be because it's the second time we're featured in a magazine for the same dress! Celebs love this versatile lace dress by For Love & Lemons.
You can style this dress more edgy with the black version or more flirty and girly with the white. It all depends on the accessories, ladies! I'm personally leaning toward the black because I like how you can really see the lace detail against bare skin like the sleeves and chest.
Everyone seems to be loving the Scarlet minidress by For Love & Lemons, I mean, who wouldn't? You can't go wrong with a lace minidress. My favorite detail of this flirty dress is the hemline. It has a wrapped skirt with pretty crochet trim that adds an extra touch.
This dress is perfect for so many occassions and since it's a neutral color, you can style it so many different ways as seen above with these three celebs. So who wore it best? In my opinion, Kendall Jenner rocked it…but then again, I do have a slight girl crush on her so I'm a tad bias.
The fashion cupid has struck us directly in the heart with the latest collection by Someday's Lovin. We aren't just lovin this line for "Someday's" but for every day!!!
It's February 1st and you know what that means: The countdown to lover's holiday, Valentine's Day! Time to start thinking about what little hot number you're going to be strutting your stuff in come Feb 14th: Teen Dream Dress ::: AM to PM Dress ::: Dolman Dress ::: One Shoulder in Poppy ::: Flutter Sleeve in Tomato ::: Vivian Dress ::: One Shoulder Dress in Lace ::: Josephine Dress
Of all the fabrics to adorn yourself with this summer, silk tops the list. Love Sam and SINGER22 both agree. The airy (and beautiful) fabric helps sustain a comfortable cool in the warm summer months while allowing your beauty to shine (not a shiny face, please!) through. Love Sam's tops and dresses with lace and ruffles are simply lovely. Here are my top favorites: Love Sam Maxi Dress in Black (Totally worthy of meeting your closet!) Love Sam Tie Front Top with Lace in both black and red (A new take on your typical button up!)
Looking to add a bit of sass to your next ensemble? Then take a note from stylish celebs like Catt Sadler and Jessica Szohr and mix in a bit of lace. If your event is a bit more conservative (dinner party, charity event, date night) then opt for Catt’s look. Catt looked lovely in the Rebecca Minkoff Melanie Dress which has a simple LBD cut but with the added surprise of a lace cutout in the middle. Got an event that allows you to go all out (bachelorette party, weekend in Vegas, dancing the night away)? Then follow Jessica’s lead and slip into the Style Stalker Addict Skater Dress. This dress has vixen written all over it and is sure to make heads turn. Whichever look you pick, keep your accessories simple and your confidence level high and you’re sure to look fabulous!
February’s Harper’s Bazaar has this coming season’s trends down to a tee…and wow…I can’t wait! The red lace Erdem dress above is to die for. Don’t we all dream about wearing pieces like this, right off the runway? Well, you can dream OR get over it and get the next best thing at Singer22!
So, what’s heating things up this Spring ~ Romantic lace & “lingerie-inspired frocks”, Blazers & Bows, Strappy shoes & Stripes…oh my! You know you can count on Singer to be full of great options to help you adhere to the “rules of the season”!
We saw new styles emerge and throw backs make come backs! With the year coming to a close, Singer22 is taking a look back at the 10 hottest trends that we saw 2010…
1. Fur Coats and Vests
Nothing says “Old Hollywood Glam” like a fur coat. We saw stars like Kortney Kardashian dolled up in the Funktional Predator Coat in Animal to stay warm and stylish in the cooler months. Taking a note from the 70’s, fur vests popped up again! Singer22 loves the ELS Raccoon Fur Vest in Brown that we saw ladies wearing year round.
2. Leather Jackets
One of the biggest trends of the year was leather. Stylists gave this rocker fabric a feminine twist in their collections and shoppers ate it up! The Smythe Moto Leather Jacket is an absolute must have. This is a style that will last and last and can be worn from 2010 to 3010!
Lace showed up on almost every red carpet this season. Whether it was slight, chic detail on a dress, lace on shoes or a complete lace ensemble, it was there. Like its leather counterpart, when worn correctly, lace is timeless.
Plaid was worn big time this year. Both men and women were dressing up in this dressed down fabric and making it look oh, so good! The Rails Kendra Original Plaid Button Down, Stephanie Pratt wears it in Red/White, is a far cry from your father’s plaid shirts but is still incredibly comfortable. I’m sure we’ll see this trend rolling over into 2011.
Move over Skinny Jeans, 2010 brought a new jean to town! Jeggings literally took over the legs of stars and everyday shoppers alike. One of our favorite designers of 2010, Michelle Siwy, has her amazing Siwy Hannah Jegging Jean in Coquette that can be paired with boots, booties, flats or heels to provide a perfectly polished look to any outfit.
6. Leather Leggings
Another leather accessory that was huge in 2010 was leather leggings. Not for the faint of heart, these super sexy leggings added a huge dose of glam to outfits traditionally paired with black, cotton leggings. Stars everywhere were seen donning the Current/Elliot Pull Up Leather Legging to show off their sexy side.
7. Distressed Tees
Distressed denim wasn’t seen as much in 2010. Distressed tees on the other hand, made their mark. At first we questioned buying shirts with rips and holes in them but once we found out how comfortable they were, we understood. Stars like Lauren Conrad and Gwyneth Paltrow showed their love for LA in The Chaser LA City of Angels Tee, 2010’s distressed tee of the year!
8. Boots and Booties
Many trends come and go but a hot pair of boots is forever! 2010 saw knee high boots, like the House of Harlow 1960 Lainey Suede Calf Boot, making their sexy mark as well as flat, mid-calf height boots for daily wear. Booties were also huge this year in their own adorable way. Booties like the Rosegold Genie Lace Up mixed tough and chic for an accessory that was worn day and night in 2010.
9. Boho Jewelry
Who doesn’t love a little bling? 2010 introduced us to so many amazing jewelry designers. Even though Nicole Richie launched House of Harlow 1960 in 2008 her boho jewelry line was seen everywhere in 2010. From bangles to rings and necklaces to cuffs, House of Harlow 1960 provides women with hippie chic pieces that transfer well from season to season.
10. Mini Dresses
2010 was the year of the legs! Starlets showed of their mile high gams in itty-bitty dresses all year long. Even when the temps started to drop the legs kept making their cameo. Tunic dresses like the Parker Stripe Bead Tunic were seen in summer for their beach friendly cut and in winter for all the sparkle and shine a girl needs.
We’ve seen some truly great trends from 2010! Singer22 is already getting in resort wear for 2011 and if it’s any sign of things to come, we’re in for another very fashionable year!
Thanks to Nicole B. for the graphics!
