Maxi Craze

I can't get over all the maxi's that are arriving here at Singer22. A maxi dress is a must have for the summer and thankfully Singer has a variety of options to choose from. Today we got in the Fighting Eel striped maxi dress which was amazing. The fabric was soft and cozy, and I love a great stripe. Then there is the Parker maxi, which I also loved because of the print. It was so different than anything I've seen, and also a really light material. My most recent purchase is the As Is asymmetrical dress. It is such a cool worn in black and I love the design the brand uses on all it's pieces we have in. It's also cool how on one side it's longer than the other, adds a little something to it. The best part is how affordable it is. If you haven't already done so, you should definitely invest into a long maxi – it's perfect for the beach and to walk around in style.

Dresses are coming in all new lengths this season, & one of my favorite styles is the Maxi: they make you appear so much taller! Although you may think you can drown in so much fabric, I think Maxi's do just the opposite! They look so chic flowing with the body. If you want to show of your body more, go for a thinner fabric, tighter silhouette, or wrap a belt around the waist. Noteworthy Neons

Be bold, be bright, be bold & bright by busting out those neon colors.  I can’t get enough of this season’s hottest trend! Neon is the easiest trend to pull off and compliment every skin complexion.  Don’t be afraid to bust out your neon for work either.  Equipment has come out with their Signature Blouse in almost every color and it’s perfect to add zest to your office life.  The best way to pair up your colorful neon numbers is to not overthink it.  If you have a neon blouse play it safe by pairing it with a pair of denims.  And always remember that neon dresses are perfect to take you from day to night with the switch of a shoe.

Flowy Silhouettes

The 70's trend is being seen everywhere this season & flowy silhouettes are one of the most prevalent within this trend. This light and airy style is so versatile, it can be worn by anyone whether you're looking for a romantic look, work attire, casual outfits, or a night time look. The blouses can be worn with a pencil skirt for a more classy style, try Twenty8twelve Thompson Skirt by s. Miller. A light, flowy dress can be worn for either day or night with the correct accessories, try Modern Vintage wedges for daytime and Jeffrey Campbell heels for an edgier night out look. Short Stuff… it’s not all about Denim, folks!

It may still be chilly and rainy in some places, but do not forget to stock up on your shorts for spring and summer! If I were you, I would get some unique and statement-worthy bottoms rather than denim.
