It’s always great being the Editorial & Fashion Associate for SINGER22 and getting access to insider fashion events, but it’s even better when it’s for one of my favorite lines, Naven. Last night one of our amazing bloggers, Kirsty (in the white) and myself (in the blue jacket) attended the Naven Fashion Event at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. We had an amazing time sifting through the adorable Holiday 2011 Naven Collection that I am so excited for SINGER22 to get in.
We also had a “fancy running into you here” moment with the head designer of RAILS, Jeff Abrams (the stud in the gray button up) whose quality work and stylish flannels speak for themselves. And of course, it wouldn’t be a true Hollywood party with running into a few celebs. Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett where taping their reality show “Kendra” during the event.
Go nuts for Naven here and be sure to check back soon for the Holiday 2011 collection.
Collared shirts aren't just for the office anymore. A collar adds instant sophistication to whatever outfit you pull together. Whether you're dressing up or dressing down a collared shirt is a cool, crisp piece to mix into your ensemble.
Ashley Greene and longtime beau Joe Jonas are DUNZO! Less than a week after calling it quits, she’s already been linked to Kings of Leon’s Jared Followill AND Captain America star Chris Evans! Sounds like this starlet isn’t looking back…but Singer22 definitely IS! Hey, she wore some great outfits during that relationship– join us for a final stylish look back…
Last summer, the couple looked happy, holding hands and running errands around Los Angeles together. Ashley sported her Rails Bobbi Shirt with a pair of khaki skinnies.
Ashley and Joe stepped out for dinner at Hollywood hotspot Katsuya in October 2010. She looked ready for a romantic evening in her J Brand Super Skinny Jeans paired with platform pumps.
Last fall, the duo arrived at LAX airport, looking friendly and comfy in their travel attire. Ashley chose to wear her Paige Premium Denim Verdugo Jeggings with a leather jacket for the flight.
Ashley and Joe enjoyed a fun night out in Hollywood with friends over the holiday season. She looked ready for fun, wearing her Rails Devyn Plaid Shirt over a pair of leather leggings.
Most recently, the couple was spotted out for a casual lunch in Los Angeles. Ashley paired her AG Stilt Jeans with an easy button down blouse.
We wish Joe and Ashley the best of luck in love in the future! Whose couple style do YOU envy?? Leave our blog some love and tell us about your favorite celeb duo!
Some movies you may remember her from: Cleopatra, BUtterfield 8, Father of the Bride (the original), Cat On a Hot Tin Roof, and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
Dame Elizabeth Taylor was such a beautiful woman – not only with looks and great fashion, she worked hard and dedicated her life to help others around the world! Let’s raise our red lipstick tubes (an ode to her character Gloria Wandrous in the movie BUtterfield 8) to the legendary Dame Elizabeth Taylor!
Now here’s a fun fact about Elizabeth Taylor: She was the FIRST actor in history to be paid $1 million because of her epic movie Cleopatra!
January Jones is the most recent celeb to jump on the wide leg bandwagon! The Mad Men star was spotted stopping for a bite at Little Dom’s Deli in Los Angeles, wearing her J Brand Bette jeans. We’re loving these jeans on her; the high waist is super flattering and feminine. Everyone in Hollywood is putting their own spin on this throwback– just tuck a Rails button down into your wide legs to get January Jones’ look.

They love us! They really do! Three of Hollywood’s hottest gals were spotted wearing these trendy apparel and accessories you can find at Singer22.com!
Mad Men actress January Jones was spotted wearing two of our favorite trends: high-waist denim and plaid blouses! She loves her J Brand Bette 70s Jeans in Wonderama, and you can complete the looks with a red plaid blouse like the Rails Kendra Original Plaid Button Down Shirt.
Nicole Richie loves promoting her line… and we do too! While leaving the gym, Mrs. Richie-Madden wore her very own House of Harlow 1960 Chelsea Cat Eye Sunglasses. She paired it with an all-black gym ensemble and a denim jacket like the Current/Elliott Snap Jacket.
Last but not least, teen queen Selena Gomez spent a sunny day in LA with our favorite casual tee – Blue Life Phoenix Cape Tee. She keeps it casual with a pair of denim and uber-stylish aviators but we love her hint of glam when she added a silver cuff like the Ben-Anum Silver Triangle Cuff.
It’s kind of like a uniform in the celebrities’ lives: if you need to go grocery shopping, wear something fab. They have turned grocery shopping into more than just a chore – it’s a chance to show off your fancy duds & they look amazing doing so!
People.com confirmed today that Reese Witherspoon and long time beau Jim Toth are engaged! This will be the second walk down the aisle for Reese, we can all remember her first marriage to Hollywood hunk Ryan Phillippe. The couple got engaged over the holiday weekend but there has been no news on the wedding’s actual date. We cannot wait to see what Reese wears down the aisle!!! Until then check out how to get Reese’s laid back style for yourself.
We saw new styles emerge and throw backs make come backs! With the year coming to a close, Singer22 is taking a look back at the 10 hottest trends that we saw 2010…
1. Fur Coats and Vests
Nothing says “Old Hollywood Glam” like a fur coat. We saw stars like Kortney Kardashian dolled up in the Funktional Predator Coat in Animal to stay warm and stylish in the cooler months. Taking a note from the 70’s, fur vests popped up again! Singer22 loves the ELS Raccoon Fur Vest in Brown that we saw ladies wearing year round.
2. Leather Jackets
One of the biggest trends of the year was leather. Stylists gave this rocker fabric a feminine twist in their collections and shoppers ate it up! The Smythe Moto Leather Jacket is an absolute must have. This is a style that will last and last and can be worn from 2010 to 3010!
Lace showed up on almost every red carpet this season. Whether it was slight, chic detail on a dress, lace on shoes or a complete lace ensemble, it was there. Like its leather counterpart, when worn correctly, lace is timeless.
Plaid was worn big time this year. Both men and women were dressing up in this dressed down fabric and making it look oh, so good! The Rails Kendra Original Plaid Button Down, Stephanie Pratt wears it in Red/White, is a far cry from your father’s plaid shirts but is still incredibly comfortable. I’m sure we’ll see this trend rolling over into 2011.
Move over Skinny Jeans, 2010 brought a new jean to town! Jeggings literally took over the legs of stars and everyday shoppers alike. One of our favorite designers of 2010, Michelle Siwy, has her amazing Siwy Hannah Jegging Jean in Coquette that can be paired with boots, booties, flats or heels to provide a perfectly polished look to any outfit.
6. Leather Leggings
Another leather accessory that was huge in 2010 was leather leggings. Not for the faint of heart, these super sexy leggings added a huge dose of glam to outfits traditionally paired with black, cotton leggings. Stars everywhere were seen donning the Current/Elliot Pull Up Leather Legging to show off their sexy side.
7. Distressed Tees
Distressed denim wasn’t seen as much in 2010. Distressed tees on the other hand, made their mark. At first we questioned buying shirts with rips and holes in them but once we found out how comfortable they were, we understood. Stars like Lauren Conrad and Gwyneth Paltrow showed their love for LA in The Chaser LA City of Angels Tee, 2010’s distressed tee of the year!
8. Boots and Booties
Many trends come and go but a hot pair of boots is forever! 2010 saw knee high boots, like the House of Harlow 1960 Lainey Suede Calf Boot, making their sexy mark as well as flat, mid-calf height boots for daily wear. Booties were also huge this year in their own adorable way. Booties like the Rosegold Genie Lace Up mixed tough and chic for an accessory that was worn day and night in 2010.
9. Boho Jewelry
Who doesn’t love a little bling? 2010 introduced us to so many amazing jewelry designers. Even though Nicole Richie launched House of Harlow 1960 in 2008 her boho jewelry line was seen everywhere in 2010. From bangles to rings and necklaces to cuffs, House of Harlow 1960 provides women with hippie chic pieces that transfer well from season to season.
10. Mini Dresses
2010 was the year of the legs! Starlets showed of their mile high gams in itty-bitty dresses all year long. Even when the temps started to drop the legs kept making their cameo. Tunic dresses like the Parker Stripe Bead Tunic were seen in summer for their beach friendly cut and in winter for all the sparkle and shine a girl needs.
We’ve seen some truly great trends from 2010! Singer22 is already getting in resort wear for 2011 and if it’s any sign of things to come, we’re in for another very fashionable year!
Thanks to Nicole B. for the graphics!
