In my previous blog post, I talked about how belts can give you an amazing shape. Well, here is a post dedicated to dresses and belts and how they can show off your greatest asset no matter what shape you are – your WAIST! Embrace it, dolls!
Go ahead – pick and choose the belts you like with their matching dresses. You know you want it…
Haute Hippie Gunmetal Belt with Studs
Pair this rock and roll piece with a basic shirt dress like the Daftbird Button Back Tee Dress. Add a bit of spice with your basic apparel. Perfect for a casual yet chic day! Complete the look with a pair of ankle booties like the Zoe Bootie from Sam Edelman or sandals like the Arden sandal from ROSEGOLD and a fringe handbag like the Rav Fringe Bag from Stella & Jamie.
I had a fashion flashback today when the team over at “Equipment” pointed out that the python blouse we have on the site is very “Almost Famous.” It inspired me to do an entire post on one of the best movies of all time, and one of the best fashion era’s too. The 1970′s were all about free spirit, ease and effortlessness. Flowy tops, wide leg jeans and maxi dresses were a must have staple for every hipsters closet. The key to pulling off 70′s style is to own the look & don’t let the clothes wear you. Mix and match fringe with fur, floral with pops of color and don’t forget to always have a pair of cut off jean shorts handy. “Almost Famous” style is beyond perfect for any music festivals that you have to go to, or lazy days at the beach.

Today we spent the whole day shooting Nightcap, and it has truly made me SO excited for summer. The cutest crochet cover ups, sexy dresses, worn in long sleeves/tank tops for the beach. I need warm weather NOW! I hope everyone has been checking out the blog because I’ve been posting looks I’ve taken in the city with my favorite pieces I got from Singer22. My Charley 5.0 cut out shoulder button down and my amazing StyleStalker dress that I got stopped everywhere for on Saturday night. I also absolutely love the new addition they added to LOOKBOOK (streetstyle) on the Singer22 website. I have so much fun shooting these. It’s time to decide what I should buy for this weekend. Hmmm – I absolutely love the Iro green motorcycle-ish jacket and the Nightcap lace mini one shoulder dresses. They are so incredibly sexy, but I desperately need a tan before venturing into one of those bad boys. So many new shoes came in today, which is like heaven for me. I got to play around with all the new wedges – and I’m specifically in love with the sandals with the blue wedge. So different, but classic every day. My favorite announcement of today is WE JUST GOT IN RAY BANS!!! Every style you could imagine. Definitely going home with one of those.
