If I had to live in one fashion decade, it would be the 1920s. I cannot get over the sequins, the feathers, and the pearls. It was also the beginning of liberation of women when it came to fashion, lifestyle, and voting. We, at Siger22, are all about women and their rights – and we believe women have the right to look ultra fabulous, glamorous, and beautiful, inside and out! You do not have to rent a 20s flapper costume to look like one on one day of the year… Singer22 has a couple of Roaring 20s fashion essentials for you to wear all-year round: Alice + Olivia Priscilla Bustier Dress, Alice + Olivia Stacey Poof Skirt Party Dress, Alice +Olivia Tessie Tulle One-Shoulder Party Dress, Alice + Olivia Gabby Embellished Blouson Dress, Halston Heritage Bugle Beading Spaghetti Dress, Tolani Wide Stud Scarf, and Cleobella Ella Handbag. Kick up those heels and do the Charleston! Look like a cool cat with Singer22′s Roaring 20s-inspired fashions and accessories!
Do you want to know how much I enjoy the Marie Antoinette movie? Mind you, I watch it mainly for the intense fashion and beautiful scenery. But, Kirsten Dunst does make a good Marie Antoinette! I gathered inspiration from this movie and I mostly thought of: lace, bustiers, pastels, and more lace. I wanted it to be very girly and very princess-y type. But nothing too hardcore – like no tutus or tiaras (but wouldn’t it be nice to have your own crown and feathered hat?). My Singer22 picks for a “Marie Antoinette-inspired” look: Alice + Olivia Elsca Deco Bustier Top, Love Sam Tiered Habotai Cami, Parker Boho Top, Jennifer Zeuner Multi Chain Choker, Jeffrey Campbell Tabitha Shoe, House of Harlow 1960 Leslie Platform Bootie in Black Lace, House of Harlow 1960 Lilian Lace Bootie, Alice + Olivia Kristin Web Detail Strapless Dress, and Alice + Olivia Vivian Lace Bodice Drape Dress. Dress it up like Marie, pop in the movie, and eat some cake!
