Spring 2013 is being referred to as a “balancing act” according to Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute. She says, “…we look for balance between light and bright, classic and new. This season’s color palette emphasizes this need for balance, while at the same time allowing for individuality, self-expression and excitement.”
Take a look at the four trends I’m most excited about for spring! (more…)
Stage 4: A Married Couple…Without the Marriage License
You’re in a long term relationship that is going smoothly but you wouldn’t mind if things heated up a bit. Since you’ve been together for so long, you feel comfortable with one another. There’s nothing wrong with that, of course, but it’s nice to go back to Stage 2 and act all giddy towards one another. (more…)

Stylish, sexy yet sweet. Loving the Style Stalker Sugar Daddy Dress as seen on Native Fox.
I’ve definitely written about StyleStalker plenty of times before, but I must say – it truly is my ultimate favorite collection that SINGER22 sells. They are everything I’d ever want a clothing line to be. Different, spontaneous, unpredictable, cool, and chic. They also always keep a feminine touch to their pieces, which I (the girly girl that I am) really appreciate. I styled and purchased two of the StyleStalker dresses last week as how I’d wear them out and about. I have yet to actually wear them, I’m trying to save them for something special – not sure what though. Since these two dresses are so unique in their own way, I liked the idea of just keeping them simple, opposed to showering them with accessories and crazy shoes. Also, this color is definitely my new favorite – I don’t know what I’d call it, purpley-pink. It’s different and I don’t think I’ve ever owned anything in this shade.
If I could be a brand, I would be StyleStalker. They’re effortlessly chic, eerie, witchy, lady style is everything I could ask for in a collection. They always bring something new to the table, and that new thing they are bringing for me are bell sleeves. I love how in a lot of their pieces they incorporate a bell sleeve. Two of my favorite dresses they are selling, have this sexy bell sleeve – sort of taking the trend of the flared jean, and bringing it up top. I appreciate they’re flowy pieces that are fitted in all the right places. I love pairing their things with Jeffrey Campbell Litas. Litas were made for StyleStalker. Everything is super sexy, and also making manlier garments in a feminine twist. AKA the classic white button down with a train in the back. I truly would keep Stylestalker pieces together. I’d pair a StyleStalker top with a Stylestalker skirt, and the dresses need nothing but themselves.
