She’s the girl who looks like she just threw together an outfit, but it still looks stunning. The girl who doesn’t look back. The fashionista who looks like she’s traveled the world finding unique clothing that was made just for her. If this is you, then these pieces are for you. And you don’t need to travel the world to find them: Gypsy 05 Adela Top ::: ELS Red Fox Vest ::: Ramy Brook Palazzo Pants ::: Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent
Pieces by Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent keep rolling in so be sure to check back daily for hot, new items straight off the runways.
Fringe and feathers, patchwork and ponchos. Native American-inspired prints and textiles are huge for fall. Isabel Marant, a favorite of the fashion pack, sent fringed boots and patchwork garments down her AW11 runway. Of her collection Marant said,
“This season, it all started with a Navajo-print carpet. I toyed around with this pattern, then I started with a feather print, and I realized I was working on a Native American story.”
Love this trend? Here are some ways to recreate the Isabel Marant cool-girl aesthetic with some of my favorite pieces from SINGER22.
Marant’s boots might be impossible to track down, but here are some alternatives to recreate the runway look.
Thrown over a simple outfit, this statement-making outerwear will keep you cozy through winter. Look hip with the slouchy fit, or try belting it for a cinched-in, more tailored effect.
Fringe trimmed handbags, feather motifs and beaded accessories will tie it all together. Try the Streets Ahead Beaded Bracelet (above), Ember Skye Nicole Bag, and As Is Feather Hair Clip for the best finishing touches.
Keep in mind that a little fringe goes a long way. The key word with this look is restraint. Choose one or two key items and balance it out with a dark wash skinny jean and perfectly fitted henley tee. With our fashion-forward pieces at SINGER22, Navajo-chic has never looked better!
Twelfth St. by Cynthia Vincent really surprised me this season. The styling from their lookbook totally inspired me. I loved how they paired their super cute woven suede sweater over the cami slip dress. I also loved how they paired a black hat with almost every look. I tried to pair most of the tops with a maxi skirt. I love that bohemian/witch look. Twelfth St. seemed to be inspired by that as well. I can’t even get started on the Arizona fur vest. It is the perfect toning of colors and looks amazing over almost every dress made for the collection. I even tried it with a pair of JBrand skinny jeans and an oversize t-shirt and it fully changed the tone of the outfit (In a good way.)
Because fur is every girls new best friend, we’re busting at the seems to wear ours this fall.
