Styling My Man for Spring/Summer Basics

As the fiancé and I near our wedding month, it’s high time to start some spring cleaning and get him ready for the festivities to come.  He’s the type of manly man who only shops a few times a year, so when we shop for him it’s usually all about getting the basics that will last year round.  He’s very simple and doesn’t like to be too trendy, or wear a lot of print, so below you’ll find what we’ve picked out together as we revamp his spring/summer wardrobe.

Starting from the ground up, it’s always good to invest in key bottoms such as AG Adriano Goldschmied Khaki Pant, which are great for nicer events (err, wedding showers).   I love the idea of pairing these khaki’s with the easy to layer Levi’s Made & Crafted Shirt.  To give the ensemble more dimension, we’ll pull over this super comfy Vince Cashmere Crewneck Sweater that I cannot wait to snuggle up against.  He could also pull this sweater over the Vince Long Sleeve Shirt, and the light color will look amazing in the warmer months.

As another bottom basic, the fiancé picked out these 7 for All Mankind jeans.  He loves wearing black jeans and I love it too because you can pair anything with them, whether it be one of the button up shirts above, or a simple LnA tee. LnA makes amazingly soft cotton tee’s.  And even though I have my own LnA tee’s (see Women’s LnA), I still find myself stealing the fiancé’s.  For those chilly summer nights, it’s always great to have an Ever Fleece Hoodie handy.  We love these hoodies because they’re simple, basic and have an amazing fit like they were designed specifically for you.

Lastly, since we’ll be jet setting for our honeymoon and working on our tan before the big day, a good pair of Ever Charlies Point Boardshort‘s are a must have for his new spring do.

Hope this helps you and yours truly shop ’till you drop (and for men that usualy means about 10 minutes worth).  Cheers to hotter arm candy!
