Spotted: Ryan Gosling in Persol Sunglasses

CATCH THIS NOW – SELECTISM SPEAKS
With Spring Break upon us and Memorial Day and summer round the corner we were stoked to see some of our favorite gear amongst Selectism’s “10 Wet Short”. S22 ENDORSEMENT: FRED PERRY
There are some staples every guy’s wardrobe should not be without. One is the iconic polo shirt. Launched at Wimbledon in 1952, the Fred Perry polo shirt was an immediate success, known for its laurel logo and adopted as part of the uniform of the punks and mods and today’s hipsters worldwide. We like to stick to our laurels and note that some celebs like and Stephen Moyer and Zac Efron are fans too. Persol comes from “per il sole” meaning “for the sun”, highlighting these iconic shades’ function of protection against the sun’s rays. For nearly 100 years Persol has been providing great style and function in eyewear. One of the brand’s early fans was Steve McQueen, known as an everlasting men’s style icon. We love the retro styling of the PO0649 and the collapsible quality of the PO0714 favored by McQueen.
