For work, you can wear the shoe standing up straight, with your pants over them. This will act as a brogue. If you want to wear it combat-style, there are 2 options. You can simply fold over the tongue and body for that effortless, rugged look. If one desires to clean that version up, wrap the laces around the body when you tie them.
