Designer Frye started out in 1863 in a small shop in Marlboro, Massachusetts. The original purpose was to create a boot for the hundreds of local factory workers that would ease their daily work. The expansion of our nation across country took the Frye boot company with it and the following generations of John Frye’s family continued the tradition of making boots of the highest quality. The Frye boots were of such high demand that they were contracted for military members during WW II. By the 1960’s and 1970’s, Frye boots were added as an iconic style that represented the fashion culture of the time. The Smithsonian selected the Campus™ boot to best represent America during that time. Today, the legend continues with the creation of Frye accessories as some of the finest made and longest lasting around. Celebrities wearing Frye include Miley Cyrus, Vanessa Minnillo, Candice Accola, Hayden Panettiere, Julianne Hough and Emma Stone.
