J Brand is denim favored by celebrities and those in the know whether for a night on the town or something casual
Launched in 2004 by founder and CEO, Jeff Rudes, J Brand set out create a jean that fit so perfectly it would fit the body like a glove. Starting out as an exclusive line at Ron Herman’s Melrose jean bar in 2005. The main goal of J Brand is to design timeless, classic and sophisticated jeans=denim] that make a woman look and feel beautiful. With that in mind, J Brand discovered the ideal combination of style and comfort.
Jeff Rudes teamed up with celebrity stylist Susie Crippen to create that perfect jean. Their main focus was making jeans that the wearer felt amazing in. The core objective was to create a jean with no excessive hardware or embellishments. Jeff and Susie wanted a clean-cut pair of jeans meaning no back pocket design or shredded holes. The result? J Brand introduced the dark-washed skinny jean. They were the first company to impact the global market and drive this trend.
In fall 2008, J Brand introduced a men’s line personifying modern classic with a masculine awareness. With the ever-growing business, J Brand then launched a Ready-To-Wear collection in spring 2012 consisting of premium fabrics mixed with simple jerseys that go hand in hand with their minimalistic attention to detail.
J Brand has successfully created a combination of sexiness and style in a womans jean while allowing the woman to feel comfortable. Susie says, “It’s about a women looking beautiful in her jeans, not the jean drawing attention to her.” Women around the world crave the sophistication and flair of J Brand jeans.
J Brand has won the hearts of celebrities like Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Alessandra Ambrosio, Beyonce, Hayden Panettiere, Nicole Richie, Kim Kardashian, Jessica Alba and countless more.
