The history of Sundek swimwear returns to San Francisco in 1958 when they created the new name for the surfing world, taken from the iconic 1940’s Sun-Dek of California. The quality fabrics and original designs launched it to popularity and they growth continued to include designer Sundek t-shirts, denim shorts, rainbow boardshorts, swimsuits and resort wear. Splashy colors combined with perfect fit gave men a collection that they could look good in and know it would last; with quick drying nylon for today’s fast lifestyle. The Sundek sweatshirt line was a logical expansion and are easily paired with jeans. Sundek is the sponsor of the Eastern Surfing Association and the SUNDEK Invitational to support athletes. Celebs like Sean Slater, Kelly Slater, Corkey Carrol, Ken Bradshaw, Mark Foo and Mark Ruffalo all wear Sundek.
