Designer Bio: Mara Hoffman A designer could pick a worse place to get her start than on "Sex and the City", so when the show's stylist approached Mara Hoffman about using her designs, Hoffman was more than willing to oblige. The designer's specialty dyed and batiked jersey-knit garments are known for their uniquely distinct look, inspiration that comes from nature and the beauty exhibited by world cultures. This taste of the exotic has caught the eye of fabulous ones such as Naomi Campbell and Kate Hudson.
