If I were to create a line it would honestly be very similar to For Love and Lemons. I love how they used bells in a lot of their pieces. Bell bottoms, bell sleeved dresses, it's my favorite trend right now. I also loved how they took the really sexy ice skater dress they sold for winter and created a lighter more sweet/feminine version of it. They had the variety of super sexy mini dresses, open backs, lace, and then the more feminine sweeter side of them. Normally, I am not a bra person (A-Cup), but when I saw the bras they made, I couldn't help but imagine how sexy they would be under a sheer blouse (like the new Naven ones). Naven Fashion Event Recap

It's always great being the Editorial & Fashion Associate for SINGER22 and getting access to insider fashion events, but it's even better when it's for one of my favorite lines, Naven. Last night one of our amazing bloggers, Kirsty (in the white) and myself (in the blue jacket) attended the Naven Fashion Event at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Emerson makes PANTS?!?!

I was so excited this morning when I saw the warehouse bring down 5 different pairs of pants and all crazy colors. Turquoise, yellow, red, and I went to check the label and was completely surprised when I read Emerson Thorpe. Emerson, honestly, makes EVERYTHING. Tops, dresses, jumpers, skirts, and when I say in 50 different colors, I'm not exaggerating. Not a day goes by here at SINGER22 where we don't at LEAST shoot one item from Emerson Thorpe. **Buying Tip: When I tried the 24 on, ahem, not true to size, I had to go up a size, 25. Another thing, is that they are pretty long - so when I played around with it, they looked super cute cuffed also. They fit perfectly and were stunning with anything I paired it with. Blue, Orange, Red, Green, Yellow. . . all great colors, all great options. But the one color that has me swooning for more is FUSCHIA! I love it, I can't get enough of it. Perfect for every skin tone this hot color is popping up all over the fashion charts and celebrities like Stephanie Pratt are being spotted everywhere in the hot color. Fuschia is perfect to pair with another hot color like orange, just like Stephanie did. Or, you can make the color it's own statement piece by dressing up in a Brian Lichtenberg piece. Summer Looks

I put together some summer looks for when it's super hot and you're going out and for when it's a bit on the chillier side. Emerson Thorpe makes an awesome blazer, it's so light and has that cool droopy fit. The white is the perfect compliment for a tan, so I'd stick with that, plus I love the way it looks with denim. I paired my Emerson Thorpe blazer with Citizen of Humanity jeans and a blue Naven blouse. I love this look because it's easy and a great go to, all while still looking put together and chic. I am loving every shade of the rainbow as the color trend makes a splash this summer. Pinks, purples, yellows, blues ... whatever the hue you love, you can't go wrong.
