Introduced in New York in 2002, Rag & Bone was founded on a philosophy that denim was the key representation of history and authenticity of classic work-wear design. Rag & Bone has become an iconic legend in the denim world and beyond. Their British roots of exquisite tailoring and an emphasis on fit, construction and fine fabrics distinguish the brand.
Designers Marcus Wainwright and David Neville create wearable clothing that is classic mixed with a modern and edgy touch. With no formal fashion training, Marcus and David sought out time-honored techniques of skilled, local manufacturers. Their attention to detail is force that drives the core philosophy behind Rag & Bone.
Rag & Bone has a downtown style with clean silhouettes, constructed from the finest fabrics that redefine urban style. In 2007, Rag & Bone won the Swarovski Award for emerging talent in menswear. The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) honored Marcus and David with the title of Menswear Designers of the Year in 2010. Expanding the line internationally, Rag & Bone developed the “effortlessly cool” quality.
