Blue, Orange, Red, Green, Yellow. . . all great colors, all great options. But the one color that has me swooning for more is FUSCHIA! I love it, I can't get enough of it. Perfect for every skin tone this hot color is popping up all over the fashion charts and celebrities like Stephanie Pratt are being spotted everywhere in the hot color. Fuschia is perfect to pair with another hot color like orange, just like Stephanie did. Or, you can make the color it's own statement piece by dressing up in a Brian Lichtenberg piece. Perhaps you want to be more subtle with your color. You can also add pops of color to your outfit by wearing a hot fuschia sandal or bold blazer.

I had the best time shooting all the Rebecca Minkoff pieces. I honestly have to say I've never bought anything from her, but after trying every piece on, I have a new found love. Not only are the dresses and tops perfection with just the right amount of a feminine touch to it, she makes the most remarkable bags. Prints, studded, shoulder bags, messenger bags, clutches. I must say I love her bags most with the pieces she makes. I sometimes wonder if she designs them to go together. I'm a big fan of the mini messenger bag with the studs. This southern belle has just been informed of a very well known East Coast "Holiday" called "Summer Fridays." For those of you who have been living under a rock for the past decade (like me!), Summer Fridays is when a company lets their employees leave early on Friday afternoons during the summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day typically). Some companies even let their employees pick a number of Fridays that they can just take off. And these are in addition to the other days you get off throughout the year. Typically it's so that New Yorkers can get out to the Hamptons in time to enjoy the sun.
