Fringe and feathers, patchwork and ponchos. Native American-inspired prints and textiles are huge for fall. Isabel Marant, a favorite of the fashion pack, sent fringed boots and patchwork garments down her AW11 runway. Of her collection Marant said,
"This season, it all started with a Navajo-print carpet. I toyed around with this pattern, then I started with a feather print, and I realized I was working on a Native American story."
