Lawd, have Mercy!  Hollywood’s “It-Girls” are giving us their best denim looks in the JBrand Photo Ready Mercy Skinny Jean.
Cropped at the ankle and ripped at the knee, the vintage black mid-rise skinny jean is gracing the bodies of the likes of Kim Kardashian, Alessandra Ambrosio, Kendall Jenner and Hilary Duff. Each fashionista is serving up her own interpretation of rocker glam, further exemplifying the versatility of the Mercy skinny.
Mrs. West roughs up her usual polished look by pairing the jean with a vintage rocker graphic tee and oversized moto leather jacket, while younger sis Kendall following in her sibling’s footsteps with a similar look topped with a beanie.  Alessandra is a little more playful in sneaker wedges and Hilary proves less is more with a simply fringe cross-body bag and booties.
Each embodies the persona of a strong and independent female in her own right. And further proves the versatility of the quintessential black skinny jean.
Kourtney’s style can be best described as polished with a bit of edge. We love how she can take the Lauren Moshi Riley Moon Dreamcatcher muscle tank from day-to-night by pairing it with a metallic moto jacket. Or dress up her favorite McGuire Majorelle flares by pairing them with the Mason by Michelle Mason lace long sleeve button down.  Kourtney is redefining mommy style.
While the newly single style maven is ready to paint the town red with her ever-evolving style, she’ll have the rest of the world thinking: Scott who?

What are your plans for Valentine's Day?
Let's face it: Valentine's Day can be a very stressful holiday. For instance, if you're single commuting to work on Valentine's Day you'll notice every couple holding hands, stealing a kiss or posing for a picture-perfect moment in front of Times Square. On an ordinary morning, you wouldn't even recognize these moments because you're too busy dodging these said couples on your way to work after the trainee barista at Starbucks just messed up your coffee order.
On the other hand, if you're taken your desk will be flooded with roses and your office-mates will be throwing all the “Ooh's” and “Ahh's” at you…and eying that luxurious chocolate that has yet to be opened. You know your significant other has planned a romantic, candlelit dinner for the two of you at a restaurant you don't often venture to.
There is, however, one thing in common on Valentine's Day whether you are single or taken, and that's looking like you just walked out of a photo shoot. We're talking hair done, sultry makeup and an outfit that's going to make you the center of attention. That's where we come in! (more…)
Remember when Jezebel called out Lena Dunham's Vogue photos for not being real and offered up $10,000 for anyone who could produce the original photos? Yeah, we got annoyed too. At first Lena responded in typical Lena fashion with a subtle tweet, but now Vogue is backing her up with this amazing and adorable short video.

This morning as I was driving into work this song by Baz Luhrmann came on the radio. I haven't heard it since high school and it instantly brought a smile to my tired face.
For those of you who aren't familiar with Everybody's Free To Wear Sunscreen, here's a little background: In 1997, columnist Mary Schmich wrote an essay for the Chicago Tribune giving much-needed life advice to youths. The advice from this famous essay serve as the lyrics to Luhrmann's song.
Take an extra five minutes out of your day to listen to this song. It's some of the best life advice I've ever heard. Of course, never take anything for granted. I hope this gets you through the rest of your workweek.
Happy Hump Day, everyone!
