Award show season is always entertaining. I love seeing these beautiful and talented women debut their gowns, shoes, hair and makeup. Side note: Every red carpet should have a mani-cam like the one E! used at the 2012 Emmy Awards, which was inspired by Zooey Deschanel.
Getting back to the point. Most of the attention is typically on the women but I think the men need a little more loving. Last night at the Critics' Choice Awards, Ben Affleck and Bradley Cooper were looking sharp and I can't help but love their scruffy look! I definitely won't get tired of seeing these two walking the red carpet at upcoming award shows.
I saw this adorable GIF on BuzzFeed of Ben Affleck's surprised reaction to winning Best Director for his amazing movie Argo, which also won Best Picture.
Anne Hathaway rocked her pixie cut with a sparkly gown. She won Best Supporting Actress for Les Misérables. Jennifer Lawrence is proving to be a threat to her fellow nominees. Taking home awards for Best Actress in a Comedy (Silver Linings Playbook) and Action Movie (The Hunger Games), along with a couple others. Emmy Rossum looked absolutely radiant. She can do no wrong in my book!
I kind of wished Emily Blunt's dress was floor length instead of stopping at her ankles, but she looked pretty nonetheless. I'm hoping to see more out of Amy Adams at the Oscars, where she is nominated for Best Supporting Actress. Many were not too keen on Amanda Seyfried's choice of outfit. I happen to love the color and thought her hair and makeup looked pretty.
What did you think of last night's fashion choices?
