Carisa Brambles dreamt up the idea for Nightcap Clothing after years of working in sales for different contemporary showrooms, including Tocca and Young Fabulous and Broke. As a young LA designer, Carisa wanted to create a relaxed collection that combined loungewear with sportswear. The concept behind Nightcap Clothing is to be worn from day to eve, and of course into the bedroom. Carisa started her line with the Robe Dress- the idea of the robe being so chic to lounge at home, yet so sexy to wear out. She uses the softest supima cotton and pays incredible attention to detail, as with the vintage garments that strongly influence her designs. Plunging necklines, raw edges, and the finest European laces are all incorporated into the collection. She is as meticulous about fit as she is about the hand of the fabric, and it shows, which is why fans are not just enjoying a nightcap before bed.
Both Kate Beckinsale and Kate Hudson love Nightcap Clothing for its 1970’s laid-back beach style. The Foldover Beach Pant is the perfect wear anywhere pant for Spring/Summer- with a generous foldover waistband, lace detail at the knee and a huge bellbottom- wear with a tank for errands, après beach, or layer up jewels for a night on the town. Same goes for the Dropback tee, the open drawstring back, looks as sexy with daisy dukes as it does with the Foldover Leggings. Lace detail on the back of the MonAmour tee is a sweet surprise considering the flowing shape and sexy neckline. And the Mariposa dress can be worn for a sunset beach wedding or the honeymoon thereafter!
Whether you are living a fast paced Cosmopolitan life or drinking Pina Coloda’s by the sea- all good, as long as you’re living the Nightcap dream.
