This month is all about the laughter at Vanity Fair with their first-ever comedy issue, which is guest-edited by funnyman Judd Apatow. He gathered his hilarious friends and idols to contribute, write and pose for the speical issue.
The first cover version for the comedy issue features the cast of the highly anticipated This Is 40, Leslie Mann (married to Apatow), Melissa McCarthy, Paul Rudd and Megan Fox dressed as famous figures from the 60's and 70's. Check out the other covers after the jump!
This is Vanity Fair's third time having a guest editor. It's a breath of fresh air to have someone like Judd Apatow guest-edit the entire issue. Comedy is quickly becoming a contagious success in movies, television and onstage.
Featured in the issue is virtually every funny person of the past, present and future. Ranging from Conan O'Brien and Lena Dunham to Carl Reiner and Mel Brooks. Sidenote: I think Melissa McCarthy just crushed my fear of clowns because I cannot stop laughing when I see that scary/amazing face she's making!
