I like it, I love it, I want some more of it: LACE. The ultimate balance of the hottest trend, lace, is to be romantic but not over-girly. When wearing lace you want to be sensual but not too sexy. The lace isn't an added detail of a garment, it is the garment. Dare to wear your lace with not a slip under it, but a swim suit or body suit…Just be sure to keep the cut a little more relaxed or the hem a little longer to maintain that aforementioned balance. Lace no longer has to be worn and followed by “Here Comes The Bride”. Take your lace look from bridal to summer chic by shopping the trend here: Nightcap ~ Foley + Corinna ~Torn by Ronny Kobo

. . . of my (SINGER22) favorite things. With so many hot trends of the moment, from bold colors to boho dresses, it is making dressing up this summer much more fun! I like to keep things simple and timeless which is why I picked out the pieces above. I love the nautical shorts because you can put a t-shirt on top for day or dress it up with a cute blouse for night. Always having that go to bracelet for a bold punch is on my must have list and you cannot go wrong with this amazing JJ Winters handbag. There are so many fun things to pick from on SINGER22.com right now, but here are a few of my favorite things of the moment:
BFFs Vanessa Hudgens & Ashley Tisdale arrived at LAX airport after a quick vacation in Cabo. Â I love how they both look so boho and ready for summer. Â Do you think they planned to match their white outfits or do stylish minds think alike?? Either way, YOU can steal their looks here at Singer22! Â Check out more photos of their arrival below…

I had a fashion flashback today when the team over at “Equipment” pointed out that the python blouse we have on the site is very “Almost Famous.” It inspired me to do an entire post on one of the best movies of all time, and one of the best fashion era's too. The 1970's were all about free spirit, ease and effortlessness. Flowy tops, wide leg jeans and maxi dresses were a must have staple for every hipsters closet. The key to pulling off 70's style is to own the look & don't let the clothes wear you. Mix and match fringe with fur, floral with pops of color and don't forget to always have a pair of cut off jean shorts handy. “Almost Famous” style is beyond perfect for any music festivals that you have to go to, or lazy days at the beach.

Today we spent the whole day shooting Nightcap, and it has truly made me SO excited for summer. The cutest crochet cover ups, sexy dresses, worn in long sleeves/tank tops for the beach. I need warm weather NOW! I hope everyone has been checking out the blog because I've been posting looks I've taken in the city with my favorite pieces I got from Singer22. My Charley 5.0 cut out shoulder button down and my amazing StyleStalker dress that I got stopped everywhere for on Saturday night. I also absolutely love the new addition they added to LOOKBOOK (streetstyle) on the Singer22 website. I have so much fun shooting these. It's time to decide what I should buy for this weekend. Hmmm – I absolutely love the Iro green motorcycle-ish jacket and the Nightcap lace mini one shoulder dresses. They are so incredibly sexy, but I desperately need a tan before venturing into one of those bad boys. So many new shoes came in today, which is like heaven for me. I got to play around with all the new wedges – and I'm specifically in love with the sandals with the blue wedge. So different, but classic every day. My favorite announcement of today is WE JUST GOT IN RAY BANS!!! Every style you could imagine. Definitely going home with one of those.

Trend Ticker: Cape Craze
We know it's the holiday season, the perfect time to doll yourself up with sequins, cocktail dresses and glittery tops. But what to wear during your down time? How about something to shield your shoulders from rain, sleet and snow? Have no fear, because the cape (trend) is here. The best part about the cape craze is that all you have to wear under is a comfy tee and leggings – slap a cape on top and viola! You're looking stylish as ever! Capes are perfect for travel days because they can also serve as a blanket on an airplane. I know I'll be wearing my new Twelfth St. Cape as I hit the sleigh toward grandma's house this year.
