If you haven't heard the amazing news by now…Urban Decay finally released their highly anticipated Naked3 palette. The Urban Decay Naked and Naked2 palettes are extremely popular, containing bronze-hued shadows that allow you to create almost any look you want. Being that the Naked and Naked1 are very similar to each other color wise, we are so excited about Naked3.
This beautiful palette of twelve rose-hued shadows is all you need for the upcoming holiday season. Create daytime and nighttime looks with ease that will steal everyone's attention. The classic Urban Decay packaging is perfect size for traveling, and, as usual comes with a double-sided brush.
Take a look below at the full review, swatches and tutorial using the Urban Decay Naked3 palette from Sona Gasparian of Makeup by Sona. (more…)
One of my favorite beauty blogs The Beauty Department posted an amazing tutorial to take your prim work bun into a full-out party bun. In my opinion, buns are (or should be!) a go-to hairstyle for every girl. Think about it: you're rushing and don't have time to wash and style your hair. What's better than throwing it up in a sleek sock bun, messy bun or top knot? Nothing!
Head over to The Beauty Department to check out the full tutorial.
What's your go-to hairstyle?
Most of the time smokey eyes are created using blacks and greys, but in this makeup tutorial Teni of MissMaven creates a beautiful smokey eye using neutral colors. She uses lighter and softer colors in the peach/brown family to create a lovely look that's great for day or night. If you want to wear a smokey eye but don't want the intense look that black/greys shadow create then try out this neutral smokey eye. Check it out above!

There's something about distressed denim that I'm in love with. Perhaps, it's the way each fray and rip wears in perfectly to the contours of my legs with each wear? The fact they already have that broken in feel and I don't have to do squats to make them stretch a bit? Ladies, I know you know what I'm talking about. Or they are just simply effortless and chic.
I stumbled across this amazing, detailed tutorial on the Free People blog, BLDG 25, showing you how to perfectly distress a pair of jeans. It really doesn't take any time at all to create a truly unique pair of jeans. Plus, you only need a few tools: a sharp razor blade (be careful!), card stock, scissors, sandpaper and a dremel, which is optional. (more…)
“You look so tired today…” is probably one of the most annoying comments someone can say to me. You are basically telling me I look like crap, but in a nice way. Gee thanks. Listen, we all have those days when our eyes are puffy and under-eyes are dark from lack of sleep. (more…)
It's no secret that we love Teni Panosian of Miss Maven here at SINGER22. Honestly, what's not to love? She's nice, beautiful and creates absolutely stunning (and easy!) makeup tutorials that are great for any girl's everyday routine.
Watch the video above to see how Teni perfects a super simple and girly look for spring. Her look is subtle but flirty by using a hints of bubblegum pink. It is spring after all, and nothing feels better than ditching the dark hues of winter! Details on how to enter the giveaway after the jump. (more…)
I'm always looking for new ways to paint my nails since I get really bored having one solid color. I've tried the water marbling technique, which is super cool and looks awesome if you do it correctly but it's kind of messy and time consuming.
After searching YouTube, I came across this short and simple tutorial by Pixie Polish on how to marble your nails using a needle (you can also use a safety pin or toothpick). Let me just say, I would love to hire the extremely talented girl behind this tutorial because I took a look at her other videos…oh my gosh. If you have the art skills, which unfortunately I don't, I suggest checking out the rest of her tutorials for amazing, envy-worthy nails!
The cool thing about this technique is that you can use any color combination you can think of. I am definitely going to try this over the weekend. It would look really pretty with bright colors for summer. The possibilities are endless!
Would you try this easy, no-water marbling technique?

Date night is extremely important to us girls and we obviously want to look our best. Unfortunately, we all don't have the ability to have a professional makeup artist at our fingertips, so we're here to help. We asked our makeup artist and hair stylist, Rachel, to give a quick and easy tutorial for creating a flirty, smokey eye that's ideal for any date night. Check it out after the jump!
One reason I envy every female celebrity is because they get to wake up to the talented hands of professional makeup artists. I, on the other hand, don't have that wonderful luxury and, gosh, I wish I did. It's really crazy how much a person can do with makeup and, more specifically, eyeshadow. You can use certain colors to make your eyes pop or glue on those crazy lashes, which I happen to be slightly scared of. I guess you can relate your eyelids to being like a blank canvas and you can create beautiful masterpiece! Ok that might have been a bit too dramatic but here's a video from the talented Ashley on how to create a fab smokey eye!
Now for the outfit. Smokey eyes automatically make me think edgy and dark. Here are some great leather pieces that will complement your smokey eye with a bit of edge. (more…)
