For over a decade, stylists Emily Current and Meritt Elliott had been styling for publications and [celebrities|/celebritypicks.html]. When they met with friend Serge Azria in July 2008 the unique denim brand Current/Elliott was born. Emily and Meritt revealed for love for vintage [denim|/current-elliott.html?category[]=denim] and styles that Azria found inspiring.

Although Serge Azria’s name may not appear in the brand title, you can be certain he has his input. Azria holds the titles of both CEO and Creative Director of Current/Elliott. This entrepreneur’s main goal is to make a difference. Serge set out to manufacture a collection entirely crafted from denim, a new concept the fashion world has yet to see.

Current/Elliott has managed to build a denim collection featuring fits that speak to the varied needs of the contemporary customer. Fits like the Fling boyfriend jean and the Stiletto and the Perfect shirt are favored by celebrities like Ashley Tisdale, Hilary Duff, Leann Rimes, Rihanna, Gwyneth Paltrow and others.
